Soft Tissue Surgery

We are proud to offer a wide range of surgical procedures.

Pet Soft Tissue Surgery

Soft tissue surgery includes procedures involving the skin, internal organs, masses/tumors, and injuries such as lacerations and bite wounds. We are proud to offer a wide range of surgical procedures to make sure we can help your pet no matter what it may need.

Spaying/neutering is an important part of your pet’s health, and it is important to discuss this decision with your veterinarian. Exam findings and breed predispositions can have an impact on the ideal timing of these procedures, and we can help you make the choice that is right for you and your pet.

Some surgeries are recommended based on exam findings to help minimize the risk of injury or illness or to prevent the progression of the disease. These procedures include, but are not limited to:

  • Entropion and ectropion
  • Cherry eye
  • Mass removal
  • Tail amputation due to vertebral malformation (Corkscrew tail)
  • Brachycephalic syndrome (stenotic nares and elongated soft palate)
  • Cleft palate repair
  • Prophylactic gastropexy
  • Hernia repair
  • Minimally invasive laparoscopy
