Meet Alisha McGhee, LVT Alisha McGhee has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician since 2008 and joined Wilson Veterinary Hospital in 2011. With a background in shelter medicine and a passion for client education, Alisha has always believed that informed pet parents feel more confident and empowered. As our Diabetic Counselor, Alisha serves as a liaison between you and the doctor, providing additional time, clarity, and support beyond your appointments. Whether through email, phone conversations, or in-person meetings, her goal is simple: To help you feel confident, prepared, and supported throughout your pet’s diabetic journey.

A Diabetic Counselor provides education, guidance, and ongoing support for families managing diabetes mellitus in their pets.
