What to Expect: Triage

To maintain our exceptional standards, each pet will be triaged (prioritized) on arrival. Critical cases will be received first. Due to high volume, wait times may be prolonged. If you are asked to wait, please exercise empathy and patience, as it means someone else’s pet requires more urgent care.

We maximize time-to-treatment with on-site diagnostic tools and technology, state-of-the-art surgical suites, and a fully-equipped medical wing for 24-hour hospitalized care. This technology, along with our expert veterinary personnel, ensures rapid and tailored treatment for every pet.

Pet emergencies and unexpected ailments are stressful for pets and owners alike. In addition to providing round-the-clock emergency services and support, we strive to create a calm and compassionate environment where each pet has equal access to timely care.

What to Expect: Exceptional, Individualized Care

If it is safe to do so, call ahead to discuss your pet's condition. If your pet is critical, this lets us prepare for their arrival and anticipate their needs. If your pet is stable, you may be given an approximate wait time or referred for care during normal business hours.

If you Believe your Pet is Experiencing an Emergency…

On a visit to our veterinarian he said we need to take our German shepherd to an emergency veterinary hospital. He recommended Wilson veterinary hospital, even though it was much further than one close by. I’m glad I followed his recommendation. Our dog was admitted right away upon arrival , they were very thorough with their examination. The price was very reasonable. Unfortunately we had to have our beloved dog euthanized , everyone was so caring and compassionate throughout this heartbreaking process . When our hearts are healed and we are ready to get a puppy they will become our regular vet.

Wilson Veterinary in Romeo is great. They are friendly, responsive, and make things easy. They are affordable and they don’t try to sell you unnecessary services or products unlike other vets in the area. One of my dogs recently passed away and they were so wonderful and kind. I have been taking my pets to Wilson’s since 2015. Be it routine exams, emergency situations, or the even the heartbreak of having to put down a beloved pet; Wilson Veterinary Hospital has always met or exceeded my expectations. It is a hospital they can be busy and sometimes you have to wait. But I have always had courteous and professional staff that have kept me informed and managed my expectations of when to expect for care. Sometimes other animals have more pressing needs, just like a human hospital. But I have always received thorough and professional help from a staff that always does their best to help me understand what my pet needs. I would not take my pets to any other vet.

One last thing, the Sparky Fund is a great program they run that helps out pets in need and finds them good homes!!

This Vet always come through, the trek is far for me but they are responsive and open for emergencies. I switched vets to something closer they were unable to get in for an emergency situation during normal hours. WILSON vet is always up for the task and l open when your pet is in need.
